DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Matthew Sycle (he/him) is the Director of Finance at ShowTown Theatricals, where he has been happily crunching numbers since 2022. He manages investor relations, oversees company finances, and supervises financial operations across productions.

Matthew also manages grant and tax credit applications, including the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG), the New York City Musical and Theatrical Production Tax Credit Program, and the Empire State Musical and Theatrical Production Tax Credit Program.

Prior to joining ShowTown, Matthew worked with Broadway Bookkeeping, Atlantic Theater Company, and The Glimmerglass Festival. He holds a BA in Arts Management & Entrepreneurship from Baldwin Wallace University and has a deep love for both QuickBooks and his 11-pound chihuahua, Remi.
